Gergely says:

I live in an old apartment with big south facing windows. The ‘bright’ sides of the apartment are entirely dedicated to my plants. I often switch the position of the plants during winter time to maximise the light potential. For me, plants are less about interior styling, I’m more of a plant collector.

I enjoy researching as much as I can about their natural habitat to understand and to give them as much care as they need. Knowledge is your most important tool if it comes to plant care.

Last summer I build my first terrarium and since them I can’t stop thinking to get more of them when spring is coming. I enjoy the most to see the changes over time in this tiny ecosystem inside the glass.

When I travel, i try to visit botanical gardens, conservatories and local plant shops and most importantly make new plant friends!

Gergely’s tips:

Do proper research about your potential plant before you buy it, not just because “it would look cute in that corner”. Clean the leaves on the regular basis that your plant can function properly.
