“Watching my three year old light up when she sees our plants growing is such a great feeling!”

Favourites: Peruvian apple cactus and Philodendron selloum, but pretty much all cacti and big leaf plants!
Delonte says:
No matter what plant, my goal is to help it shine to it’s full potential! Caring for a plant is a two way relationship – you give a little attention & love, and the plant gives back joy!
To me, plants have become more of a lifestyle than a hobby, they’re helping me grow as much as I’m helping them and my goal is to spread the love and hopefully encourage some people to give the plant parent life a chance!
I also really enjoy sharing my love of plants with my kids! It gives me a fun way to teach them and bond with them! Watching my three year old light up when she sees our plants growing is such a great feeling, and it’s been a good way to teach her that sometimes good things take time, and to appreciate even the smallest growth!
When it comes to styling, I’m really attracted to orange, earthy tones – ones reminiscent of the Arizona desert. I just try to make whatever inspires me cohesive and aesthetically pleasing! I love unique plants with lots of personality and I like to bring that same individualism to my personal style!
Delonte’s tips:
Take some time to learn about your plants! Plants aren’t complicated, they’re a bit like people, you just have to look and listen and they’ll show you what they need to thrive!
